My professional career spans the last 35+ years. I have worked in many mediums, from oil painting to hand-formed paper to my current work in fiber. In recent years, I have been digitally layering my own photographs and printing them on cotton and silk organza fiber. They are then cut and assembled on box forms, sometimes with added clay figures, wood, found objects or other dimensional pieces. I would describe my educational background as primarily self-taught because of the unique nature of my work and my quest to "think beyond." I enjoy the challenge of working three-dimensionally and find the style of work meets my desire to express thoughts, concepts and social statements most effectively. - Jane Jennings
